Clean Energy Internship Application

This is the application to become eligible for an internship through the NYSERDA Clean Energy Internship Program. This is not an application for a specific internship.

To complete this application, all applicants must upload the following items:

  • Cover Letter
  • Resume
  • Residency Documentation

Current and recent college or university students must provide:

  • Official or Unofficial Transcript

NYSERDA will use residency documentation to verify the eligibility of individuals applying as a resident of a Disadvantaged Community. NYSERDA reserves the right to request documentation verifying Priority Population status for individuals applying in any other Priority Population category before awarding funding for an internship.

Documentation Upload

Other items will be used to evaluate your eligibility for the Clean Energy Internship Program but will not be shared with prospective employers.

Residency Documentation: Acceptable documentation includes driver's license, cell phone bill, lease agreement, or evidence of mail sent to you at your home address. Please obscure or black out ID and account numbers on submitted documentation.

Transcripts must include your name, school, and semester dates.
