To qualify, you must be income eligible based on your total household income. For the Affordable Solar Incentive, you must also prove homeownership and occupancy.

  • Read the application in full, and review the supporting documentation required for submission, including evidence of total household income. Be sure to have all the required supporting documents gathered before starting the form.

  • Upon submitting the application and required supporting documents, you will receive a confirmation email. Refer to your application number in your confirmation email to check on the status of your request.

  • STOP: The Affordable Solar Residential Incentive is not available in Consolidated Edison, National Grid, NYSEG, RG&E, Central Hudson Gas & Electric, or Orange and Rockland. It is currently only available in PSEG Long Island.

    Required Document #1 — Utility Bill - in the name of the applicant or household member listed on the Household Eligibility Worksheet
    Upload a recent electric, gas, telephone or internet utility bill dated within the last 3 months

    Required Document #2 — Income Documentation
    You can demonstrate eligibility through one of two options.

    Option 1: Participate in a Government or Utility Assistance Program

    I understand this application does not guarantee assistance will be granted but will be used in determining eligibility for the program. Whether or not an eligible applicant will be provided assistance will depend in part upon the number of applicants received, the remaining funding available, and the priorities to be met by the program.
