The Air-Source Heat Pump Program will provide up to $10.95 million in incentives to participating installers for the installation of program qualified air-source heat pump (ASHP) systems in residential sites to include single-family and multifamily buildings. The New York Public Service Commission (PSC) has allocated funding for this program through the Clean Energy Fund (CEF) to support installations for customers who pay (or will pay in the case of new construction) the System Benefits Charge (SBC) / Clean Energy Fund surcharge.
Incentives of $500 per installed program qualified ASHP systems are available only to participating installers on a first-come, first-served basis, up to $500,000 per participating installer. NYSERDA reserves the right to adjust the per-unit incentive and funding amount limit available to each participating installer. Complete program requirements and additional descriptions can be found in the Air-Source Heat Pump Program Manual.
Participating Installer and Incentive Applications must be completed and submitted online at https://nyserda.ny.gov/ashp. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be accepted. Faxed or e-mailed applications will not be accepted.
