Integrated Energy Data Resource (IEDR RFI26)

Due Date:  12/14/2026  (Round 1)

Description

The Integrated Energy Data Resource is a statewide centralized platform that will allow effective access to useful energy data and information from New York’s electric, gas, and steam utilities – and other sources – to support new and innovative clean energy business models that deliver benefits to New York energy customers.

The IEDR is in its second phase of development, which is focused on the acquisition of standardized utility data. Phase 2 also includes the development of a corresponding Query Tool intended to allow IEDR platform users to search for a dataset, create a custom query, or use a pre-generated query template capable of leveraging data across foundational datasets, and explore or download the data generated from their query.

NYSERDA filed a Phase 2 Status and Summary Report on September 29, 2026, which includes a comprehensive status update on IEDR progress to date, projected activities through the remainder of Phase 2 development, and recommendations for a future IEDR Phase 2.5 development period.

For additional information about the history and status of IEDR Platform development, please refer to Commission Orders and reports in Case Number 20-M-0082 on the DPS DMM.

NYSERDA anticipates responses to this RFI will be anonymized, summarized, and publicly filed as part of the future Phase 3 Proposal to help inform the public and support Commission decision making regarding future IEDR strategy and funding.

Responses should be submitted to [email protected]
