Clean Energy Training Services (RFQL 6152)

Due Date:  Continuous

Description

NYSERDA is issuing this Clean Energy Training Services RFQL to establish a pool of contractors qualified to deliver training, develop curriculum and/or training tools, and provide market expertise and/or other services related to clean energy workforce development and training. Contractors secured under this request will provide program support to help NYSERDA ensure that New York State has an adequate supply of energy efficiency and clean technology workers to ensure an equitable and just transition. NYSERDA seeks to equip new and existing workers with the necessary occupational skills, credentials, experience, and professional and leadership development to participate in the clean energy economy.

NYSERDA is seeking qualified training providers, curriculum developers, and/or market and technical workforce experts in building decarbonization and energy efficiency; renewable energy, grid modernization and energy storage; alternative transportation; nuclear power; internship, mentorship, and leadership development; or labor relations. In addition, NYSERDA seeks organizations with experience developing certifications/credentials and reaching underserved populations who encounter barriers to accessing training and jobs in the clean energy sector. NYSERDA anticipates entering into zero-dollar Umbrella Agreements with successful proposers.  As needs arise, NYSERDA will award individual Task Work Orders through mini-bids sent to qualified firms approved within the applicable service area.
